Hello everyone,
I hope that you are all well.
I am sharing this post to give some updated information on our safety measures in store following Boris Johnson’s announcement earlier this week. The team have sat down together to review and revise our current safety measures and what this means for everyone moving forward, so we would be grateful if you could take the time to read the below information ahead of your appointment, fitting or booking.
It has felt like a lifetime waiting for the relaxation of certain guidelines and we only hope that this means that all of your wedding ideas after the 19th July go to plan and that you have the day you always envisioned.
Whilst the relaxation of guidelines is exciting, and it means that we can relax certain safety measures in store, I hope that you will understand that our priority is to continue to keep the team and all of our wonderful brides safe, especially with a double wedding season ahead of us. Therefore it is imperative for us to take caution and be aware that the service that we provide necessitates prolonged, close proximity contact and that there are still safety measures that need to be upheld.
COVID has undoubtedly changed the way that we can run our store, and we are currently working to full capacity, which is why it is so important that we remain vigilant and uphold certain safety procedures, so that we can continue to do what we do best, whilst limiting exposure to potential illness and/or having to close the studio, and therefore letting brides down. We will always strive to give you the best experience in store, but to do this, we need to remain healthy, and for the studio to stay open.
It is for this reason that we will continue to wear a face covering in store. The wearing of face masks is not mainly to protect ourselves, but to protect other people, so even though it is no longer a legal requirement to do so, we would ask that you and your guests continue to wear these in store. Brides can now bring two guests with them, and we will be happy for brides to remove their mask when dressed and outside of the fitting room, so that they can see themselves fully in each dress and discuss with their guests. Upon arrival, you will all be asked to sanitise your hands. We will continue to sanitise touch points between clients, clean the stair well and sanitise all gowns tried on. Our waiting area has been removed, and we have also had to close our toilets to clients at our land lords discretion.
We are a small, family business, and our team consists of just myself and Beck, and we aim to be there with you every step of the way; from your first email, to your final fitting. If either you or your guests are ill, please let us know. If you come into contact with anyone with COVID or if you get a positive test result, please let us know and we will reschedule your booking.
Our peak wedding season runs until October/November, and we will be reviewing these guidelines continually. This time will also coincide with when all team members are double vaccinated and hopefully we will also have some insight into the autumn and winter guidelines.
Whilst I know this situation is far from ideal, we would like to thank you for all of your patience, understanding and cooperation during this difficult time. We are so grateful to work with such remarkable women. Please continue to work with us, we are all in this together and love always wins. 💗
We promise that your time in store with us will still be magical, and we can’t wait to help you find your dream dress!
